Kevin's Tattoo of the Month
November 2002

Tattoo of the Month for November is from John Scordato in Brooklyn, NY! John's sister-in-law, Dawn, submitted his tattoo for him.

"This tattoo is on his right upper arm. It is a customized piece of the "Statue of Liberty" with fireworks exploding behind her, below her is the American Flag with the letters "U S M C"( United States Marine Corps.) on the top of the flag, in the center of the flag is the "American Eagle"- who is "shedding a tear", in the lower left hand corner of the flag is the "World Trade Center" buildings- burning, and the "Brooklyn Bridge" with water- coming out of the sides of the flag going around his arm.
    As for what this tat means to John, well 9/11 had hit all of us Americans very hard. John and Steve (my ol' man), also lost someone they grew up with. Their friend Peter Milano worked in the WTC. It was just something that John needed to do.......Honor ALL the victims of 9/11, and to never forget!!!!!!
