(May 31-Jun 1 Columbia)
 | 2-DAY BREAST CANCER RIDE, May 31 - June 1, 2003, from Columbia,
Maryland to the shores of Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland. The Ride
Across Maryland has raised over $250,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast
Cancer Foundation in the past two years. There are great ride premiums,
and the more you raise, the better your chances to win the grand prize of
an ALL EXPENSE PAID MOTORCYCLE TOUR THROUGH THE SOUTHWEST UNITED STATES.
You must pre-register by May 1, 2003 to be eligible for premiums and

| ST. MARY’S COUNTY ABATE IS HOSTING A WEEKEND RODEO
Where: American Legion in Ridge, MD 20680
When: Saturday September 6 & 7 Entrance to this
event for a two day pass is $25.00pp which
includes a Saturday Pig Roast & Live Band.
Individual Day Passes are $15.00pp but will not
include the Saturday pig roast. Details:
Saturday: Gates open at 12 Noon EVENTS:
Biker Scavenger Hunt, Food, Drinks, Live Band,
Dunking Booth, Moon Bounce, Car & Bike Shows.
Scavenger Hunt registration begins at 12Noon. Car
Show registration starting at 12 Noon. Entry fee for the
car show will be $5.00. Bike Show registration starting
at 4PM with judging at 6PM. Entry fee for bike show is
$5.00. Sunday: Gates open at 11AM
EVENTS: Traditional
Rodeo events including Water Cup Race, Slow Ride, Keg
Roll, Ride the Rail, Water Balloon Toss, Weenie Bite &
Jousting. Registration begins at 11AM
with events beginning at 2PM
Primitive camping available. No campers
or open fires. Vendors are welcome for $50.00
