Poker Run (May 10 Tiffin)
 | On September 11, 2002 Tiffin Ohio's very own 5 year, Christi Thomas,
was diagnosed with neuroblastoma which is a
cancer of the nervous system and it accounts for
8-10% of all childhood cancers. It strikes 1 out of
80,000 children in the United States each year. (600
cases per year) The children are typically between 2 and
5 years old when diagnosed. There have been no genetic
or environmental causes for this cancer; it appears to
strike at random. Fifteen years ago this was 100% fatal.
Christi has the worst possible case of it - stage 4. It has
spread, beyond the tumor around her heart and spine,
and is in her bone marrow. She's been given a 35%
chance of survival. She is now living in New York
because of her treatments. Now The
Friends of Christi committee Has organized The
Friends Of Christi Poker Run
This will be held on May 10, 2003 At the Tiffin
D.A.V. post 34 Located at 380 S.Huron St. Tiffin Ohio. Registration
is $10.00 per person There will be a Chicken
dinner, raffles, auctions, and prizes. All proceeds to go to
Help Christi and her family through these very hard

| 5th Annual Justin's Run For Hope Memorial
Poker Run & Benefit Auction (Jul 11-12
Caledonia)
| This event will be held at the Marion Police Athletic Park St
Rt 309E
Caledonia, Ohio All proceeds to benefit 10mo. old Caden Hord, son of
Dan & Megan Hord of the Cardington,
Oh. area. Gates will open at 12noon on
the 11th so you can set up camp [if you want a fire please bring your own
wood and a fire ring is a must!]
Bike Games start at 6pm with live music
from 9pm-1am The 12th at 11am will be first bike out for a 130+mile
Memorial Poker Run with sign up at RG Performance Cycles at the corners of
Main&Marion St. in downtown Caledonia, last bike out at 12noon. Last bike
due into the park at 6pm; Hog Roast 5:30pm-7pm; Benefit
Auction-7pm-9pm; Live Bands
July 11th SHOCK TREATMENT;
The New Rolly Gaumer Band 9pm-1am
July 12th Ronnie Keel & IronHorse
9pm-1am. This is a BYOB event with
showers, food and fishing available. Justin's Run For Hope has raised over
$28000 in the last four years to help families that have a child with a
life threatening illness pay medical bills. The cost of this event from
start to finish for the whole week-end is $20pr person/$30pr couple
